A friend of mine shared this fanfic with me, and I went ahead and gave it a read. It’s a short friendship oneshot between Kouichi and Takuya, during the series.
I think this gives us a more deeper background behind Kouichi’s trials during his time as Duskmon and shortly after. I like how the author portrayed Takuya, giving him a more mature outlook while conversing with him (And it definitely ties some strings for the obvious lack of communication between these two in Frontier). A fair amount of realistic thought processes, and it’s well done in my opinion! Something bothered me while reading through it though; although I can’t pinpoint what and why, overall it’s a good read.
